Abstract (EN)
There has been important developments in teaching and learning foreign language for the last thirty yers in our country. The reason for those developments in Turkey is the use of modern methods in teaching foreign language. A field of a different study,NLP, has been added to those mentioned methods. In this study , NLP which has been a method used in teaching many foreign languages especially English, has been adapted to Arabic and we wanted to get a new point of view for teaching and learning Arabic.In the introduction of this study, the aims of the research, its importance, hypothesis, definitions and concepts as well as the method of the research and other studies concerning NLP have been discussed.In the second chapter, with the definition of NLP, history of NLP, principles and techniques of NLP have been examined besides applying these principles and techniques in teaching and learning Arabic as a foreign language.In the third chapter, representational systems in NLP and the methods can be used for determination of representational systems have been investigated.In the last part of the study, results and suggestions have been mentioned.
