Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out to investigate the age-related changes in biochemical content of mid-summer mussels collected from the Aras River. The fat ratio of the Unio crassus strain increased with age, and the fat ratio of mussels at 5 years was found to be 2%. The protein ratio of U. crassus strain was found to vary between 6.65% and 7.76% depending on age. The percentage of U.crassus was found to be highest in the 2nd year old lambs (1.8%). The ash content of U.crassus strain was found to be 11.50% in the first age group, 14.1% in the second age group, 3. 13% in the 4th age group and 13.9% in the 5th age group, respectively. In Aras River, Alburnus mossulensis, Squalius lepidus, Cyprinus carpio were detected; it is thought that these fish species use U.crasuss larvae as host. As a result of the analysis on the water samples taken from the stations where the mussels were made in Aras River, the lowest and highest values were determined as NH4-N 0.329±0.003-0.369±0.004 mgL-1. NO2-N 0.183±0.00-0.235±0.00 mgL-1.NO3-N 0.0001±0.00 mgL-1. TP 0.001±0.00-0.10±0.00 mgL-1ve TOP 0.003±0.00-0.08±0.00 mgL-1. In study, it was reported that the U.crassus collected from the Aras River decreased in fat content due to pollution. In addition, the proportion of this protein increases with age, which is thought to have originated from approaching the breeding period.
