Abstract (EN)
In this study, airborne fungal and bacterial microorganism load of 20 research and student laboratories in Çukurova University Faculty of Agriculture were investigated by using petri dish opening method using TSA and PDA media. The effect of the presence of laboratories in the north or south, whether the workload is more or less, whether they are student or research laboratories, has been investigated. As a result, it was found that 30% of the laboratory, i.e. 6, were contaminated with fungi and bacteria. Candida yeast, Alternaria sp., Acremonium sp., Aspergillus niger, Cladosporium sp., Nigrospora sp., Penicillium sp. genera and sterile Basidiomycetes. It was shown in this study that all laboratories (student or research laboratory), where hygiene is not provided, can be transmitted by airborne microorganisms in any period, whether in the north or south. The importance of occupational hygiene in laboratories in terms of the safety of the researches or analyzes conducted at our university was once again demonstrated by this study.
