Abstract (EN)

The alteration of growing parameters in limited irrigation conditions of P2088 and P1921 hybrid corns, which have high productive capacity in Cukurova region, were investigated. The study was established in Department of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition of the Faculty of Agriculture of Cukurova University in 2021. During the field trial, 3 different irrigation methods were applied on corn plants which are I100 full irrigation, I75, 75% of water given in full irrigation and I50, 50% of water given in full irrigation. The trial took 147 days, and all agricultural parcels were irrigated for 14 days then the 147th day, all corns were harvested. Statically important results were obtained in different irrigating applications. It was seen that I100 and I75 irrigation applications provided to obtain better results in biological productivity, 100 grain weight, height of the plants, thickness of the stalks and thickness of stem values. However, the results of I50 irrigation application were slightly worse than I100 and I75 applications. According to the results of the study, biological productivity, and other productivity parameters, such as 100 grain weight, height of the plants, thickness of the stalks and thickness of stem, improved when the irrigation performance is higher than 75%.
