The effects of land use planning operations on vegetal production activities: The case of Hilvan district of Sanliurfa province

Conservation of agricultural land and avoiding practices that may deteriorate its structure are important for the efficient use of land, which is an indestructible resource. Land use planning is done in order to determine which product will be grown in the land and to protect the structure of the soil. The results obtained from the land use planning studies are also very important in the production planning studies aimed at determining the highest profitable product combination by ensuring the effective use of resources. By including the suitable plants to be cultivated according to land use planning as a limiting factor in production planning, profitability can be increased as well as contributing to the preservation of soil structure. The aim of this study is to compare the gross profit to be obtained with the one obtained in the current situation and the gross profit obtained from the planning to be made with the products that will be produced or produced by the farmers in the region if a production planning is made with the plants to be prepared according to the land use planning to reveal. Soil preserving to make a sustainable agriculture and applied Basin Based Support Model of the local base made land use planning work to achieve their goal of expanding to cover the whole country in Turkey, while the results obtained should be integrated into this model, suitable plants according to land use planning which if the production planning is done with the plants, it is concluded that the gross profit obtained from the plant production activity in Hilvan will increase according to the gross profit obtained in the current situation.
