Scuplture art in the context of the interaction of land art with landscape desing

Art is a broad concept that affects society in every aspect. Art is nourished by being influenced by all time periods in an endless cycle. In this study, the application processes of artists and landscape designers were evaluated. The use of sculpture in land art and landscape design; reveals different forms and definitions. In the first part of the study; city and landscape design concepts, exemplary practices in urban and out-of town open spaces have been examined in the historical process. In the second part; The interaction of the understanding of "Land art" with sculpture art, the first signs of which were felt in America after 1960, its reflections on this art and the sculpture practices of the prominent land artists of the period were discussed. In the third part, the relationship between landscape design and land art is discussed. Thus, contemporary artists and landscape designers have developed art by feeding it with current data. In this study; By realizing the importance of new perspectives in the interaction of land art and landscape, the effects of the developments in this field and the artistic reflections of these developments in today's open spaces have been revealed.
