Abstract (EN)
People have developed beliefs, practises, terms around their professions and they are united around common culture depending on their profession. "Occupational Folklore", one of the folklore stuff, which has presented life, perception and culture around their professions. A rooted culture and life which has been shaped around professions such as farming, beekeeping which have been performed by the Turkish for centuries. In this study titled 'Occupational Folklore in Ardahan and a Research on the Vocational Education', the perception, life and folklore products developed around cattle and ovine breeding, goose breeding and beekeeping were transferred in Ardahan region and it is focused on how and whom the occupational education can transferred to the next generation. The data of study in which shepherding and cheesemaking are considered as an profession related to farming have been obtained through long-term field work. Most of data have been obtained transferred without editing on compilation text, it has been tried to be made sense of their origins, structures and functions. The past and present situations have been given based on observation and conversation and predictions were made about the future of professions and their accompanying culture.
