Arguvan traditional traditional certificates for the use of music art

Our traditional ceremonies constitute one of the most important building blocks of our culture and art bridge, from past to future. For this reason, our traditional ceremonies must be examined to the very smallest detail and our customs and traditions, which are destined to disappear with globalization, should be recorded. In this research, traditional ceremonies of the Malatya-Arguvan region, which hosts many cultural and artistic treasures as it is in every region of Anatolia, have been tried to be examined in a multi-dimensional manner. The research is in a descriptive feature, as its aim is to determine the situation. In the research process, different research techniques like source scanning, content analysis, personal interviews, questionnaire etc. have been used. If few of the results of the research should listed, they can be remembered as: there are many traditional ceremonies are alive in the region, the features like traditional music, clothes, food etc. which belong to these traditional ceremonies are still active by preserving their efficiency, these ceremonies are named like "Kız İsteme" (asking for the permission of marriage from the family of girl), "Nişan" (engagement celebration), "Düğün" (wedding ceremony), "Kına Gecesi" (the night before the wedding where henna applied to the hands of bride and groom), "Asker Uğurlama" (ceremony for sending off the young men to military service), "Abdal Musa" (special ceremony dedicated to religious-historical figure, Abdal Musa, where food & money collected from the members of village, then distributed to all attendees as meal; mostly done in winter), "Kış Yarısı" (meaning of the mid-winter, where the villagers celebrate the middle of winter with some folk dances, games and cooking and eating meal all together), particularly that some of these events may be forgotten as they are being maintained by quite a few people, the organological structures of musical instruments used in the region have changed over time.
