The effects of using music technologies in harmony education on student success

In this research, it is aimed to reveal the effects of harmony education using music technologies on student success. In this study, which was conducted to determine the Effects of the Use of Music Technologies in Harmony Education on Student Success, Mixed Method was used. In the quantitative part of the research, Semi-Experimental Design with Pretest Posttest Control Group was used. The structured interview form also constitutes the qualitative part of the research. The universe and sample of the research consisted of the students of Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Faculty of Education, Department of Music. The activities developed within the scope of the research were applied to the experimental group for six weeks. After the application, with the help of a structured interview form, the opinions of the students about the use of music technology were taken. As a result of this study, which was carried out to reveal the effects of the use of music technology, there was a significant difference in the success level of the students in the experimental group. As a result of this difference, it was concluded that the use of music technologies contributed positively to student success. It was revealed that the opinions of the students in the experimental group about the use of music technologies in harmony education were mostly positive and that these views did not change according to gender.
