Abstract (EN)
Arnold J. Toynbee has a habit of seeing and observing the places of events before representation of an idea on any topic, After the visits of Turkey for this purpose and he states that these visits changed his beliefs on Turkey. Although Toynbee had a negative perception of the Ottoman population living in this territory in general terms during the First World War period, some changes on these thoughts start to emerge after 1921. In order to find out the reasons of the periodic differences on the Turkey perception of Arnold J. Toynbee, historical events and the political connections of the countries were examined and the results were compared with the works of the writer Keywords: Toynbee, Turkey, England
