Abstract (EN)

In this study, a functional product, which has aromatic oil and vitamins at its structure for using at aromatherapy and spa centers or personal care, has been designed. It?s aimed to improve the life quality of user by using good odor, moisturizing effect, relaxation, anti-aging effect of product. For this purpose, inclusion complexes are formed with volatile grape seed and lavender oil and vitamin E. Obtained complexes characterization studies applied with Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffractometer (XRD). Powder form of complexes are applied to hundred percent cotton towel fabric and washing fastnesses of fabrics are investigated. Whiteness degree of fabrics which are applicated with complexes, are calculated considering Stensby formula with Spectrophotometer. Volatile compounds variations, dependent on washing in complexes which constituted with lavender oil, are investigated with Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS). Also in this study, smell determination technique is used with QCM sensors. The release behavior of towel fabrics are investigated after encapsulation application process, after 10 and 20 washing cycles. Keywords: Cyclodextrine, aromatheraphy, GC-MS, QCM
