Abstract (EN)
Objectives: Due to unforeseen neighborhoods with the femur and variations of a. profunda femoris, complications may arise, especially in orthopedic surgical operations. In order to prevent this complication, it is necessary to take some precautions. The anatomy and variations of the proximal femoris should be examined in detail. In this thesis study, it was aimed to create a risk zone guide for clinicians. For this purpose; the morphometric measurements of the location where the profunda femoris crossed the femur were planned. In addition to these measurements, a. circumflexa femoris lateralis and a. circumflexa femoris medialis those have a close relationship with profunda femoris and femur, exit sites and variations were also examined. Methods: A total of 31 adult cadavers used in the Macroscopic Laboratory of the Anatomy Department of the Faculty of Medicine of Ege University were examined. All of the cadavers were protected by formaldehyde solution. Age of all adult cadavers ranged from 25 to 75 years. 31 of the cadavers were male. Examinations and dissections were performed at the body supine position and the extremities at the free neutral position. In this study; Trochanter major, trochanter minor, femur with the distance values of the profile femoris to the intersection start and end points, as well as a. profunda femoris, a. circumflexa femoris medialis and a. circumflexa femoris lateralis were examined. Result: A. profunda femoris was separated about 1.2 to 6.3 cm below the ligamentum inguinale from the posterior external face of a femoralis. The distance from the trochanter major to the proximal femoris and to the point where the femur intersects the medial is 6.8 to 13.1 cm. The distance of the trochanter major from a lateral to the proximal femoris and lateral to the femur was measured as 14.7 to 24.6 cm. The distance of the trochanter minor from the proximal femoris to the point where the femur meets the medial is 2.5 to 7.6 cm. The distance from the side of the femur to the point where the trochanter minor was a profunda femoris was determined as 9 to 19.1 cm. A circumflexa femoris lateralis and medialis were frequently separated from a. profunda femoris. Conclusion: The most important values of these parameters, which should be considered as risky areas in orthopedic paralysis operations, are the femoris and proximal femoris of the trochanter major, the smallest value of 6.8 cm between the femoris and the inside of the femur, 24.6 cm, which is the largest value of the distance from the outside of the point of origin; are the possible blind spot boundaries to be considered. Considering the Trochanter Minor, which is the smallest value of the distance of the point where the Trochanter minor intersects the inside of the femur with the femuris in a profile, and the second is the distance from the outside of the femur to the femur by the a.profunda femoris in the trochanter minor are the possible blind spot boundaries between 19.1 cm, which is the greatest value of that. Any interference between these numerical values can result in complications. Keywords: A. profunda femoris, ortopedic complications, variation.
