Examining the relationship between job crafting and creativity processes of cooks

Within the scope of the thesis; It is aimed to examine the impact of job crafting on creativity processes in culinary employees. For this purpose; The 5-star hotel enterprises serving in the Istanbul region, which is a region where the competition level and customer demands are high and where culinary employees can demonstrate their job crafting and creativity in order to respond to these expectations, are determined as a research area. In the study, which was adopted by the quantitative research approach, a questionnaire technique was used as data collection technique. Convenience sampling method was used in the sample selection. The questionnaires were applied by the researcher in two ways, face-to-face and online. Face-to-face and online questionnaires were applied between January 6 and 29 August 2022 and 388 answers were obtained. In the analysis of the data, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, T-test, ANOVA analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis were used. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained, it was found that job crafting in culinary employees has a significant affecting creativity processes and positively affecting the creativity processes. In addition, culinary employees; It has been found that there are significant relationships between gender, age, position and service periods and both job crafting and creativity processes. Research; It contributes to the relevant literature from various aspects and offers suggestions for practitioners and future research.
