Abstract (EN)

In the second half of the thirteenth century, the Seljuk State entered the process of collapse due to the Mongol invasion of Anatolia. As a result, social disintegration occurred in society and many chaos and disorder emerged. Spiritual leaders of the society have tried to guide the society with their ideas originating from religion in order to get away from this situation in social life. Spiritual leaders believed that society could only be kept together in this way, and that social life could only be rebuilt on the basis of religion. They wrote religious and mystical works in order to guide and support the people who were at an impasse and to reinforce national feelings. Figures such as Ahmed Yesevî, Mevlânâ, Yunus Emre, and Ahî Evran are among those who produced works of significant value that shaped social life and could be passed on to future generations. Âşık Paşa is also among these sufî-literary figures who wrote the first Turkish works in Anatolia to ensure unity and order within society. This study, titled " Âşık Paşa's Sufı Vıews In Hıs Work Named Garıb-Nâme" examines Âşık Paşa's ideas regarding fundamental concepts related to sufîsm. The study aims to see the whole picture by also utilizing the ideas of other sufîs. Âşık Paşa's works, including Garib-nâme, Fakr-nâme, Vasf-ı Hâl, Hikâye, Kimya Risâlesi, Elif-nâme, Risâle fî Beyâni's-Semâ, and other poems, are included in the research. This study extensively investigates Âşık Paşa's life, works, and sufî views. It addresses and explains fundamental concepts prominent in his sufî thought, such as unity (tawhid), morality, knowledge, gnosis, the relationship between the servant and the Lord, and individual and societal unity.
