Abstract (EN)
Ceyhan district of Adana region is one of the regions where the minstrelsy tradition is most intense in Turkey and has important representatives in this tradition. Many minstrels have grown up in this region since ancient times. In this study, the literary and artistic personality of Âşık Ferrahi, who contributed to Turkish folk music, was discussed. Within the framework of the study, 20 poems and 12 works of Âşık Ferrahi were examined. The aim of the research is to create a source in order to create a perspective for the people who will work on the minstrel tradition in the field of Turkish folk music, the minstrel tradition of the Adana region and the minstrels. has been. In the study, first of all, the tradition of minstrelsy and the basic concepts that make up this tradition were examined. Then, information about the minstrel tradition and minstrels in the Adana region is given. The subjects that Âşık Ferrahi dealt with in his poems were examined in terms of morphological features, language and style, rhyme, stop and redif. In the last section, information about Âşık Ferrahi's life, poetic and artistic identity, cultural aspect and identity of the source person is given. Qualitative research and scanning model were used in order to reveal information about Âşık Ferrahi's literary structure, his artistic identity and what kind of musical characteristics his works in the genre of broken air have. While collecting the data, first of all, electronic and written sources were examined in order to obtain information about the research subject. As a result of the study, Âşık Ferrahi has an important place both in the minstrel tradition and with his instrument, lyrics and soulful sayings, and has taken the place he deserves in minstrel literature.
