Compound verbs in Âşik Paşa's Gari̇bnâme

In this thesis, the compound verbs in Âşık Pasha's Garibnâme have been identified and classified. This study consists of the sections of introduction, examination and glossary. In the introduction section, firstly it is given the information about the book and its author, and the earlier studies on this book are listed. Then the researchers views and opinions about the compound verbs, which is the topic of the thesis, are cited, and the scope of the study is determined on the basis of these views and opinions. In the review section, the compound verbs in the work are classified. Then the compound verbs which are interesting and unused in Western Turkish among them are detected. In the glossary section, the meanings of the identified compound verbs, and their verse numbers in the text are given. In the result section, the evaluations about the detected and classified compound verbs are made. Key words: Compound verbs, Old Anatolian Turkish, Garibnâme
