Abstract (EN)

In this research, Nuri Pasha ( Killigil ), with his military, political personality and as a weapon industrialist has been looked into. Nuri Pasha was born in Manastır on 23rd April 1306 (1890 ) and he died in İstanbul on 2nd March 1949.While looking through the military personality of Nuri Pasha; his military activities Ottoman ? Italy War from 1911 to 1912, the Balkans War, the front of Tripoli and Caucaus in World War I and at Eastern front of the Turkish Independence War were explained.During the study of his political character, his martial and political authorities at the front of Tripoli in World War I as a Commander of African Groups and at the front of Caucaus as a Commander of the army of Caucaus İslam were presented. All the military troops with the civil administration were under the command of Nuri Pasha as a Commander of African Groups. With the edict of Sultan, as the Commander of Caucausian Islam Army, he was authorized in the name of Sultan, to be in political and military activities in Caucausia. At the same time, he was the Minister of National Defence of the Government of Azerbaijan. During the study of his political charecter, the negotiations with the Germans for the independence of Turks in Crimea, Kazan, Caucasia and Middle Asia during the World War II, were mentioned.While looking into his personality as a weapon manufacturer, besides his valuable works in the military factories at Eastern Front of the Turkish Indepence War, the production of weapons and ammunition in the factories of Zeytinburnu and Sütlüce in the term of Republic and also manufacturing of mercury in Karaburun, İzmir were explained. At the same time, his endeavours to import and export these goods were mentioned.In conclusion of this research, it is understood that Nuri Pasha is brave as a soldier, an enthusiastic Pan-Türkist in politics and a researcher and an innovator as a weapon manufacturer.
