Abstract (EN)

In this study, Hepgur who was one of the important performers of Classical Turkish Music, has been considered and evaluated with his improvisation of 10 different modes in violin performance. This study has been done with using the descriptive survey model. Also were evaluated and the taksims were analyzed with Hepgur's used his technique while playing the violin and the ornaments he were applied.One of the most important features of Hepgür's attitude is that he does not go out of the structure of Turkish music and creates his own musical sentences, generally prefers long bows and long sounds, and makes some difficult musical sentences on the violin without hesitation and intelligible. It is heard that Hepgür uses the nuances and ornaments that he has applied in the taksims that he has performed, generally using techniques specific to Turkish music such as percussion, glissando, vibrato, in a way specific to his performance style. In the improvisations, firstly, the taksim was notated, the modal analysis of the taksim was made, and finally, the performance technique analysis was carried out. It has also been determined that modern techniques used in western music violin performance are used together with the traditional performance style in Taksims. It is understood that the most important reason that; Aslan Hepgür took western music violin lessons in Ankara during his youth.The Kürdili Hicazkar, Nihavend, Hüseyni two taksims, Muhayyer, Hicazkar, Hicaz, Isfahan, Rast and Mahur taksims that are also found in Aslan Hepgür's social media environments were examined. It has been concluded that the 10 different makams performed by Hepgür was performed according to the understanding of Turkish music, and Hepgür, who is a violin player has a unique attitude in his performances
