Friction and wear occuring in between sliding in contact of materials couse faillures and materials lost. Therefore, a proper design should be made to prevent materials and their parts from wear failures in this study, cold work tool stells having DIN norns of 1.2080 and 1.2842 were used to determine the wear behavior abserved these steels.for this reason, a new wear test machine was designed and produced similar to TE 97 model test machine by plint firm. Pin on disc test method was selected in designing wear test nachine
