Abstract (EN)

In Industrial production area, technical failure occur up on the wear 's about eleven percent. It is a big rate of economical manufacturing production. Whole of a machine system or a production line might be disturb by the time, cause of the parts exposed to wearing. Many different researches have been done for the different kind of wearing. There are different methods consist in tribological theorem and wearing mechanisms, to prevent and reduce wearing. Maintenance and repair welding is one of commonly use of them. In this method, the damaged parts will welded by suitable welding technique in order to coated the damaged part with a more durable material. In the cement manufacturing, during the cement production grinding plaque and molars are exposed constantly to wearing. In this experimental study, Farin (cement's raw material) and Klinker grain dust obtained from Farin during process in cement's production line, were used as an abrasive. Also specimens that coated with 5 different hardfacing alloys Fazer 55, Thermo Dur, Unibase 660, Fazer 63 (Cr riched), Fazer65 (Complex carbides) electrodes were used in this abrasive wearing test. This test is done according to ASTM G65 standards. After scrutinizing the abrasive wearing results, with metallographic investigation done by analyzing the photos of microstructure of each specimens. The metallographic results were supported by XRD test. The results of metallography and XRD analyses shows Fazer 65 (Complex carbided electrode) has a high hardness and wear resistance cause of MC and M7C3 carbides phases in matrix. Also the results confirm that wear resistance was affected by Cr, MO and W carbides phases in microstructure matrixes.
