The Modern techniques using for load control in heavy vehicles

That?s why highways are used out of capacity.Highways which are used extensively by heavy vehicles and have basic problemsare being worse situation as a result of heavy vehicles aren?t controlled enough.Overloaded vehicles go really slowly and they play the major roles in the trafficaccidents caused by wrong pass. Those kinds of vehicles may cause accidents bylosing their control. Lack of load control is one of basic traffic safety problemsin our country that is hidden behind faults of road, vehicle and people,unnoticed by statistics and affect meat of the accidents directly. Because of theconditions of our country, overloading problem, even be conpared to othercountries threatens our safety. Load control should be in those basic trafficcontrol such as alcohol control or speed control. The load control which ismaking with the modern technıques, prevents jam in traffic course that occuresduring ınspections. And the most importing benefit of the modernization isheavy vehicle drivers in our country will obey the rules and then overloadedheavy vehicles will not be seen in the composition of traffic. WIM systems thatcan control the load in heavy vehicles in motion is our research topic. The weighin motion (WIM) system which informs about the weight of heavy vehicleswhich are the motion by the early warning, the WIM system confirms theexcessive loaded by the fixed axle scales as soon as the system warns theexcessive loaded. This system finds the legal sanction which must be applied byauthorities, which means weigh in motion. If we looked at the result gathered inall those countries that using this system we can see the great success gained byWIM to solve the problem (road, environment, accident and national economy)in traffic caused by heavy vehicles. In this thesis study, among the WIM systemswhich were established in the second half of 2004 in Turkey, check point in the12. section has been seen on the line of the Ankara-Polatlı (D-200) motor way inE-90 international road .
