Özet (EN)

Having a significant place in the historical course of the Middle Ages, the Mongols became one of the states that reached the broadest borders that history has ever seen, thanks to their state structure and war like features. After a rapid rise and spread, the Mongols started to develop relations with various nations, both in terms of struggle and politics; This has led to further diversifying the sources giving information about the Mongols. It is impossible to claim that all the sources provide accurate information, but it is also certain that points of interest have been recorded through the eyes of strangers. The main issue is the extent to which those who recorded the Mongols acted or did not behave prejudicially in doing this. Because the author, within the framework of his own value judgments, can either show a steppe tribe completely devoid of civilization or find the practice of some issues that fit within civilized standards primitive in his own way. The sources of the period we used, leaving all these handicaps aside and considering the reasonableness, contain rich information about the world of the Mongols. In the study, which we limited to the classical period of the Mongols (1206-1294), the records of Catholic missionaries, Armenians and Assyrians living in the region, Chinese ambassadors, and Islamic sources were consulted; Research works supported these resources, and the state organization, social and cultural life of the Mongols were examined.
