Abstract (EN)

The Ottoman Empire has come to end as defacto with the Armistive of Mudros which is a result of First World War. After occupations, Liberity War of Turkey brings the victory of founding the Turkish Republic with the leadership of Atatürk. Despite this victory; remains of the day are huge lost of human, devastated economy, hopeless, uneducated, tired and passive society wtih the traditional institutions. In order to reach modern civilisations; they need to regain the losing time and keep pace with contemporary societies. This can be possible by only changing the mentality of the society and bringing Turkish civilisation in self confidence which fits in that society's characterisation. Education is the most effecient method for transfering strategy and policies of the country in the base of reaching target. Child development and education is the most important factor in principles of modernisation moves by Atatürk. Because the child which named as 'tomorrow' will be the Picture of future. In this study,perceving of the childeren and problems of them are analyzed from the founding of turkish republic to 1938. 'Bonny Child' which is healty,strong, clever, hardworking, modern, loyal and struggling for the country is in this thesis. These activities create a mentality that child factor is the assurance of the future in the society. With national consciousness; supporting and sensivity towards to these activities is ensured by society. Within Atatürk Era; vii development period of the child and elements which affect child education, books of the term,magazines, newspapers, and documents of archive are analyzed by scanning in this study.
