Atatürk Period of mathematics education

Republic, led by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in the phase of establishment of positions, the most important element to glorify the country training aware as they gave prominence and weight to the basic sciences. In this study, the development of Mathematical Science for big labor-consuming Atatürk, his contributions to science and are explored in this initiative.In the study, the math education in our country, the development process in this training created math training, new Turkish education system and policies of Atatürk's views on this topic, addressed the objectives and planned to reconcile with the principles of this direction. Human investigated nature and curiosity universe from existence of human being and systematized the information learned to passed on to the next generations. That has led to the emergence of this mathematics. Mathematics has influenced the emergence of the science and technology closely and will continue to influence today. Thus mathematics is a reference for all sciences. The importance of mathematics has led to mathematics education. In the context of this study, we tried to evaluate mathematics education, Atatürk's opinions on the subject, objectives and principles in respect to the new Turkish education system and policies. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk has been concerned with mathematics as thinking on other many issues. In this context the interests and workings of Atatürk in mathematics and using in mathematics in his life have been evaluated.
