Abstract (EN)

The use of plastics, which facilitates our daily life in manyaspects is increasing day by day. Recycling and re-use of these materials which become waste after being used is of great importance in terms of ecological order. In the scope of this master thesis, a composite system has been produced by filling inside of the light steel I profiles which are produced from the waste polymers. For this experimental study, 10 I100 light steel profiles were produced and the acquired melted mixture was filled into seven I100 profiles made of light steel within the scope of the project. The three profiles are left blank so that the necessary comparisons can be made. The profiles are respectively filled with the mixture obtained from the waste polymer by the groups of three.. Besides, the samples strengthened by carbon fiber rods. Bending, torsion, and shear tests were carried out on the samples in question. While the produced I type light steel profile and the waste polymer philosophy which is used to fill in the profileinclude a creative innovation in recycling, it was also observed that the increase of the resistance in bending, shearing, and torsion behaviours were beyond expectations. In this context, light waste recycled profiles were produced for the literature, which behave similarly compared to the standard steel profiles.
