Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this thesis is to Reduce and estimate the critcalthickness of pipes effected by flow accelerated corrosion in heat Recevery Steam Generators. All thesis research studies have been performed in Company's newly established Combined Cycle Power Plant and older Combined Cycle Power Plant at 2011 - 2015. Our thesis research was based on the reports, analysis, Flyfield Research repots of Cerkezkoy Plant, mechanical repair reports. New Plant and Old Plant Heat Recovery Steam Generator Economizer Low Presusure Unit feeders have been used to estimate the critical thickness value. Researches Wang and Duan had made an estimation for critical thickness estimation of the same pipe that was used in our Plant. We have compared our findings as compared with Wang and Duan and we have created a new Model as ERZIN 9FB which is totally different than the estimated values of Wang and Duan. Our estimation of critical thickness of pipes will bring us more efficient use of the Plant and less outage and less risk of the present running Plant.
