The energy balance of the Malatya Advanced Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant has been investigated in detail and the equipments that consume energy in wastewater treatment plant should be considered without decreasing the process performance. With the exception of energy analyzers available at the facility, active energy meter were installed at 7 different points to obtain daily reports were made. We can make in-house energy consumption and examine our new products by examining in detail the modernized high power. Between 2005 and 2017, the energy consumed per m3 (kwh) is 0.209 on average, up to 0.299 at least 0.150 kwh/m3. For on-site monitoring, they were analyzed on a daily basis from multiple points of sampling. The benefits of the installation of new equipment and the outputs of the meters installed at different points of the facility in order to be seen on a monthly basis were explained in detail. In 2017, the treatment facility removes 93% AKM, 90% COD, 85% BOD5, 75% TN and 82% TP on average. As a result of the study, primarily in order to reduce carbon emissions and energy costs, the new generation blower and environmental lighting change will be provided by revising the old type pumps and supplying high energy efficient pumps and when the solar power plant is installed, the plant energy consumption will decrease by 5.026.764 kwh, It was calculated that 2.865.255 TL gain will be provided.
