Production of metallic powders by atomization and characterization of the powders

In this study, Atomization ,which is a technique of produce metal powders,is searched, gas and water atomization are investigated. Gas atomization is one of the techniques used in metal powder production. In this technique, nozzle produces the metal powder with desired features by controlling the gas flow. Nozzles are, generally designed in two types: free fall and closed couple. On the metal powder production by gas atomization, nozzle type is very important because of effecting the particle size, distribution and shape.In water atomization, water pressure and water jet geometry are very important for powder?s shape and size.There are six water jet models.In both of these techniques ,effects of these parameters are observed with techniques of metal powder characterization.
