Abstract (EN)

Nature has been the source of inspiration for the artist throughout art history. In the continuation of this, art is located in the very center of a person's life and interacts with him. For example, in Europe 18. Due to the innovations and technological effects brought by the Industrial Revolution that started in the twentieth century in both social and ideological fields, we can cite the innovations that the artist included in his art through the problematics and solutions he acquired in this new order. In this process, the search for new expressions that stand out in art exists as an avant-garde approach to traditional form and content. In the continuation of technological developments, with the changing consumption culture and the prominence of printed media, materials such as paper and magazines, which are among the materials of collage, begin to be the material of painting. This avant-garde movement, which takes place in the work of art with the objects of everyday life and the transformation of the object from its function into an art product or art material, prepares the ground for collage appearances in landscape paintings in the historical process. In this thesis study; The examples of studies on the use of collage technique in landscape were evaluated in the context of avant-garde attitude through contemporary works of art. All these facts and concepts were examined and findings were added.
