Abstract (EN)
In this study, the legal regulations of the European Union regarding audio-visual media services are examined within the framework of the audio-visual policies of the European Union. In this context, starting from the initial point of broadcasting in the European Union, the Directives of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, which are revised on various dates until today, are analyzed; in particular, Directive (EU) 2018/1808 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 November 2018, which was the result of the latest revision in 2018 are studied in detail.
