Abstract (EN)
The European Security and Defence Policy (ESDP), part of the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) of the European Union(EU), completed the growth process in the 2000s. After that, the development process of the ESDP was initiated by the EU. The development process of ESDP continues today, and it appears as one of the fields in which the European Union makes a remarkable effort. This thesis purposes of determining the structure, operational activities, formation, and development process of ESDP. In addition, the current situation of the ESDP is assessed through improved collaborations regarding common security in recent years. The study covers the military, and civil operations carried out by the European Union within the framework of the ESDP and the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP). In this context, 37 operations and missions are analyzed chronologically, and the operations' locations are indicated on the map.
