EUROPEAN EMPLOYMENT STRATEGYABSTRACT"Employment and unemployment subjects gained importance for EuropeanUnion in 1990s. Because, EU faced with low employment and high unemployment ratesat this stage. European Employment Strategy was introduced to cope with theseproblems in a coordinated way. In this paper, initially, why European EmploymentStrategy arose has been explained. After its results are examined, the future prospects willbe gone through."
