Abstract (EN)
26 SUMMARY The purpose of this study was to investigate the healthy appearing Salmonella carriers in 15 villages, rearing chickens entansively, located Aydın region. In addition the examination of the commercial broiler farms and the equipment for Salmonella was carried out. A total of 250 chicken faeces samples were taken from 15 villages. In addition, lien (50 samples), and liver (50 samples) from broiler chickens and 10 samples from each of defeathering unit, slaughtering units, shackles, creates and water were collected as materials. Following examinations 1 out of 250 faeces samples was Salmonella positive. However, no Salmonella was isolated in broiler slaughterhouses and the organs obtained from broilers. The strain was found to be resistant to Oksitetrasiklin, Amoxycillin + Clavulanik Asid, Enrofloxacine, Streptomycine, Orbenin and to be intermediated sensitive to Ampicillin + Sulbactam, Cephaperazone and Gentemycine in the antibiotic susceptibility tests.
