Wall paintings in Aydın and Denizli mosques

Wall painting accuring via the influence of westernization has had an important place in decorative art. New subjects and cases entering the decorative art started to be seen on the walls of places and mansions during westernization period. The decorative figures, seen in early and classic Otoman Period and reaching from Anatolia to West, changed directon and followed a route from West to Anatolia. The composition applied in wall painting is quite difrent from that used in minimature painting. Although expressed clumsily, the third dimension to be seen on art painting soon was initially seen on wall painting.The wall painting started to be seen commanly in İstanbul the capital city by the influnce of foreign artist, and leter on it was started to be used on the walls of the houses and mosques in Anatolia. The mosques of Denizli and Aydın in our study are quite difrent. In our study, the decoration of Aydın and Denizli mosques was studied through grouping. The study consists of the evaluation of the decorative works mostly placed in these cities.The style of the decorations in the mosques in Aydın and Denizli was investigated and diffrences were tried to be brought to light. While investigating, first, contructions were arranged accoring to their specialities and then catologoes were done. In the catologue, after the architectual defination, the examples on the walls were grouped and evaluated accoring to their stylesAydın and Denizli masques showing diffrences about the architecrual constitution show similanties about their decorations.
