Abstract (EN)
Purpose: This study aimed to determine the effects of different mixing ratios of Alexandria clover and annual ryegrass species on forage yield and quality. Materials and Method: Experiment: In 2019-2020, randomized blocks were planned according to experimental design in 3 repetitions at the Faculty of Agriculture of Aydın Adnan Menderes University. In the study, the Derya variety of the Alexandria Clover species and the İlkadım variety of the annual ryegrass species were used as experiment materials. In the study, yield and quality specifications of 0-20-40-60-80-100 mixture ratios were examined. Results: In the study, points such as forage yield, hay yield, crude protein ratio (CPR), acid detergent fiber (ADF), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), and relative feed value (NYD) were examined and the results were statistically significant. 3455.6 kg of the highest value in forage yield from 40% Alexandria clover - 60% annual ryegrass application, the highest value of 20.26% in CPR from the plain Alexandria clover application, the highest value of 143.25 in NYD from annual ryegrass application, the lowest value with 30.00% in ADF from the plain Alexandria clover application, the lowest value in NDF with 42.54% from the plain Alexandria clover application was obtained. Result: According to the results obtained from important parameters such as forage yield and relative feed value in annual ryegrass mixture ratios with Alexandria clover, it was determined that the most suitable mixture ratio was 40% Alexandria clover and 60% annual ryegrass mixture. It has been concluded that this mixture can be recommended, given the efficiency and quality elements for the region in which the study is being conducted and for similar areas.
