Biography of the deputies of Gazi̇antep from Ayintab to Antep: 1920-2015

The study is about the deputies of Gaziantep, among the oldest city of the world dating back to the ancient times served since first assembly inaugurated on April 23, 1920, until 2015 in full and respectively. The general outlook is provided for the history of Gaziantep in the introduction of the thesis, together with the mention made on the ancient civilizations and states in Gaziantep's geography. The biographies and performances at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey of 113 deputies of Gaziantep covering legislative year XXIV from the Period I are provided. In regard to listing as per their IN No. and election periods, the deputies are introduced with respect to their dates and places of births, education profiles, language proficiencies, professions, family profiles, date of passages, works, and personal accomplishments and assignments undertaken as the deputies of Turkish Assembly. In addition to the office the deputies hold at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, further references are made to the works they perform especially for Gaziantep and generally for Turkey. In the light of 113 deputies thus elected, good efforts have been made to reveal as to how political preferences of the people of Gaziantep take shape and to which political parties the city of Gaziantep has leaned until today.
