Abstract (EN)

This study is made in order to investigate and make contributions to the designs that are made in Azerbaijan State Art Academy between years 2004-2010 which were affected from traditional Azerbaijan clothes.The qualitative data that is included in this study is obtained from mostly from resource collection method. The data was interpreted through the descriptive statistical method; and it was explained by using tables and graphs.As a result of the research, it has been found out that, the students who graduated between the years 2004-2010 used the colors green and red more than the others, the cut was hard, avant-garde and simple traditional style, and in case of the fabric, satin and chiffon were preferred. It has been seen that the students were mostly affected from the New Era Traditional clothes. The reason for this choice is that the new era traditional clothes are the ones that reflect the Azerbaijani customs and traditions.Keywords: Azerbaijan State Art Academy, Traditional Azerbaijan Clothes, Fashion Design
