Abstract (EN)

Thiazolidines and oxazolidines have been the subject of various research areas because they are generally known for their biological and antitumor activities and they are antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antiviral agents. That's why, these compound analogs have been used as promising frameworks to develop pharmaceutical agents. In addition, changes in the 2-, 3-, 4- or 5-position of the thiazolidin-4-one ring allow to obtain new synthetic products with a broad spectrum of biological activity. Although numerous reports have been published, the development of suitable synthetic protocols for 4-thiazolidinones and methyleneisoxazole compounds remains a quest for chemists. Based on this information, the thesis study consists of two parts. In the first part; By obtaining thiazolidin-4-one derivative compounds, the chemosensory properties of these products, in the second part; It is aimed to examine the photosensor properties by synthesizing methylisoxazole derivative compounds. Compounds with chemosensory properties were treated with various metal salts and fluorescence studies were performed and their spectral data were recorded. Also, based on thiazolidine and methyl isoxazole compounds, as a result of a series of synthesis, new phthalocyanine complexes were synthesized by treating them with various metal salts (such as Co and Zn). Photochemical, photophysical and electrochemical properties of phthalocyanines were investigated under suitable conditions. These metalic phthalocyanines have shown good solubility in some organic solvents such as DMSO, DMF, THF, DCM and CHCl3. Also, detailed spectral data of all compounds whose structures were obtained were determined by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, UV-Vis, Fluorescence and MALDI-TOF. Later on, inhibition effects of these compounds against human erythrocyte carbonic anhydrase I (hCA I), II (hCA II) isoenzymes and cow's milk xanthine oxidase (XO) were performed. As a result of the data and researches obtained in this thesis, some of the targeted new compounds were brought to the literature and some of them were made ready for publication. Within the scope of this study, it is aimed to contribute to research and development studies of alternative methods in the treatment of diseases, which are cheaper, have no side effects, are easy to apply and are thought to contribute to the country's economy.
