Attachment styles, coping strategies between psychological hardiness examining of the relationships

In this research,ıt is examined the relation between psychological hardiness and coping strategies and the attachment styles of universtiy students. The aim of this study ist o determine psychological hardiness of individuals and to research the effects of attachment styles and coping strategies on the psychological hardiness.246 girls and 100 boys, totally 346 students who are still studying at the various departments of Education Faculty, Gazi University, attented this research. As a data collection material, Personel İnto Form Psychological Hardiness Scala, Relationship Scala Questionnaire and Coping Strategies Scala Short Form were used. At data analysis, SPSS 15.0 program was used and independent groups t-test and multiple regression analysis were done.According to the finding of this study, it is concluded that there is no relation between psychological hardiness and gender of university students. Another result of the study that there is meaningful relation between the psychological hardiness and coping strategies, attachment style.The findings obtained in this research were discussed in the light of relevant written source.Key Words: psychological hardiness, attachment styles, coping strategies
