Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of the research is to examine the relationships between attachment styles, work-life balance, and organizational commitment. Additionally, this research aims to examine the mediating role of organizational commitment in the relationship between attachment styles and work-life balance. The population of the research consists of participants between the ages of 18-65 who live in Turkey and work in different institutions. The sample of the research consists of 402 participants from this universe who participated in the survey on a voluntary basis. The 'Personal Information Form', 'Inventory of Experiences in Close Relationships-II', 'Work-Life Balance Scale', and 'Organizational Commitment Scale' were used to collect data in the research. Pearson correlation analysis was used to examine the relationships between the mean scores of the scales, and structural regression analysis was used for mediation analysis. Statistical significance was tested using the Bootstrap Resampling Method. According to the findings of the research, there is a significant and positive relationship between attachment styles and the impact of personal life on work and continuance commitment sub-dimensions. There is a significant and negative relationship between anxious attachment and emotional commitment. It is found that the anxious attachment variable significantly predicts the emotional commitment and work-life balance variables. It was also found that emotional commitment plays a mediating role in the relationship between anxious attachment and worklife balance.
