For this purpose, the relationship between the demographic variables of the study and the research variables was studied. Method: In this study, the relational screening model was used to examine the relationship between the variables. The sample for the study consists of 251 adults, 181 women and 70 men, who are aged 18-65 years and have at least one child who they cared for, selected through a purposive sampling method. The research data were collected face-to-face from the participants living in Izmir and online from the participants living in other provinces. Informed Voluntary Consent Form and Personal Information Form were prepared by the researcher, Experiences in Close Relationships-Relationship Structures Global Form, Social Comparison Scale and Self-Compassion Scale were used during the data collection phase. Obtained data were analyzed with IBM SPSS 29 package program. Results: According to the findings obtained in the research; A statistically negative and low-level significant relationship was found between the participants' general insecure attachment styles and their positive self-perceptions. A statistically negative and low-level significant relationship was found between general insecure attachment styles and positive self-perceptions. There was no statistically significant relationship between general insecure attachment styles and general self-compassion levels. A statistically significant positive correlation was found between positive self-perception and general self-compassion. Conclusion: Insecure attachment styles of individuals with children prepare the environment for the development of negative self-perception. While insecure attachment reduces my common stakeholder, which is one of the sub-dimensions of self-compassion, it increases isolation. Avoidant attachment style reduces the individual's positive self-perception and the development of my common stakeholder, one of the sub-dimensions of self-compassion. As the anxious attachment score averages increase, positive self-perception and self-compassion levels decrease.
