Abstract (EN)

In this study, an optimization has been done according usage areas of a military vehicle with an independent front suspension. After the optimization phase, steering system has became suitable for the turning radius and symmetrical left/right turn criterias. The torque which's needed by steering gearbox while turning the vehicle, calculated by the bore torque method in the steering system design section. Both MSC Adams View and MSC Adams Car used for creating multi-body dynamics (MBD) models steerable suspension assembly and full vehicle assembly. After the full vehicle analysis section, the structural finite element analysis has been made with ANSYS Workbench.
