Özet (EN)

There are many experiences of the Turkish nation, which is one of the oldest nations of history, depending on the social and political mobility. They tried to maintain this social understanding and mobility in the pre-Islamic period with the ideal of the world dominance of Turkish and then through the conception of Fatah related to the Islamic culture. As a result of their struggle based on this ideal, they have not left any place where they have not set foot in. While the Turkish nation has set its seals on everywhere they go, they have been influenced by the cultures and beliefs of the regions they live in and there has been a diversity in their religious understanding, life style and political formations. As this expansion and diversity expresses a wealth of culture in the sense of civilization, in the eyes of a historian, it forms a separate node that must be solved. In this study, we tried to describe a handful of Turkish people in Kosovo as part of their community with the intention of solving one of these nodes. In addition to having a small population, we tried to reveal the pressures and restrictions they have been subjected to in the historical process and their post-independence domains. The most important issues that we have been challenged in this process are the scarcity of academic resources on Kosovo Turks and their lack of up-to-date. We have made a visit to the region both to overcome these difficulties and to make our study more efficient and updated. As a result, in addition to the available resources, we tried to make a study with more up-to-date information in the light of the primary sources we obtained during the visits and interviews we had in the region.
