Abstract (EN)

Foreign policy is an indication of the political will of each state, including the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is taking firm steps towards independence, as well as the determination and strengthening of their position in the international relations system, the establishment and development of mutually beneficial relations. Azerbaijan has an ancient and honorable state history, a rich state heritage and inheritance traditions. Even though these traditions were broken many times during the difficult and tragic moments of Azerbaijan, even though there were interruptions, our people were able to survive the tough tests and re-establish historical justice, show loyalty to the old state tradition and maintain its independence. For Azerbaijan, located in a complex and sensitive part of the world, geographically at the intersection of the West and the East, the correct definition and implementation of foreign policy, both in the past and today, is of exceptional importance. in strategic approaches where civilizations and geopolitical and geoeconomic interests intersect. Thus, in addition to protecting its national interests and its status as a leading state in the region, our country establishes mutually beneficial relations with the political, economic and cultural fields of the West, Islamic countries, the Turkic world and the Commonwealth of Independent States, and expands international cooperation and equal partnership relations. Today, the political and economic potential of the Republic of Azerbaijan has increased, it has become a state that has a voice in the region, its reputation and position in the international "political scene" has become stronger.
