Abstract (EN)

Keywords : independence, Russia, external threats, security, Kyrgyzstan. These study aims to relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia after end of the Cold War and collapse of the USSR. Kyrgyzstan Republic is one of the fifteen republics which are dependence to USSR. With disintegration of the USSR in the early 1990's, the Republics began to declare their independence one by one and Kyrgyzstan is one of them. Kyrgyzstan faced to a lot of problems after it was independent state. For example, unemployment, economic crisis, external threats, so that Kyrgyzstan couldn't determind its foreign policy direction as a goodly. Russia tried close relationship wiht independent republics because of that USA, EU and China interested to these republics to their national interest. Russia established an organization which consist of old Member of USSR States. (ecxept of latvia, esthonia, lithuania) Kyrgyzstan joined to that organizaton without any pres. Joined to Organization for Kyrgyzstan was very important, because it had a lot of problems in economical and political area. Therefore bilateral relations started between Kyrgyzstan and Russia especially on the economics, politic, social and security area. Sometimes USA and China use a pres on Kyrgyzstan so that Russia sees that in these region a competition amongs US, China and Russia. However Kyrgyzstan faced to many problems about determine its foreign policy, it choosed Russian perspective in foreign policy. Vll
