Abstract (EN)
After independence, the role of masjids (mosques) in the social, cultural and religious life of Azerbaijan was studied in the study of Azerbaijan's religious environment after 1991. During this time, the activities carried out by the mosques in the country and their contribution to the society were investigated and detailed information was given. The official government institutions and the working system under which the mosques are subordinated, and attention paid to the work done during the period after independence. As a result, the mosque's great contribution to the social and cultural life of the Muslim community living in Azerbaijan has been proven to be one more proof.
