Attachment patterns, work stress and psychological well-being in caregivers who work with psychosis patients in care centers

This study aimed to examine the interrelationships among attachment patterns, work stress and psychological well-being in caregivers who work with psychosis patients in care centers. The study sample consisted of 80 volunteer full- time workers. The self-report scales i.e. Personal Information Form, Relationship Scale Questionnaire, Beck Depression Scale, State-Trait Anxiety Scale, Work Stress Scale were applied to the participants. The data was analyzed with SPSS program. According to result of the research, There was no significant difference between anxiety, depression, work stress and insecure attachment patterns and gender differences (p>.05). There was no significant difference between depression and anxiety and educational level (p>.05). There was a significant difference between work stress and educational level (p<.05). There was no difference between depression, anxiety, work stress and marital status, monthly income, operation time (p>.05). Additionally, according to correlation analysis, there was no significant interrelationship between attachment sub-patterns such as secure, fearful, preoccupied, dissmissing and depression, anxiety, work stress (p>.05). There was no significant interrelationship between insecure attachment patterns and depression, anxiety, work stress (p>.05). There was no significant interrelationship between work stress and depression and anxiety (p>.05).
