Within the scope of this thesis; In the production of refrigeration systems, the most suitable filler metals with different levels of Ag were determined by changing the content of Ag in the filler metal used during brazing of brass-brass and brass-steel materials combined with brazing. Especially copper pipes are frequently used in air-conditioning sector and cooling systems. The combination of copper pipes during the production of cooling systems is very important in terms of product life and quality. While providing the desired quality of the combination; In addition to the parameters such as temperature, feed rate, the ratio of the elements in the solder wire is of great importance. The cost of solder wires usually affects the silver proportions in it. For example, a copper-based wire with no Ag elements is about 20 times less expensive than a wire with 40% Ag element. When the aim is to make the brazing cheaper without sacrificing quality, the ratio of Ag in the solder wire is critical. In this study, the brazing process was carried out by using 3 different material pairs, 5 different Ag ratio filler metal. The magnitude of the stress that it was damaged by the blasting test was determined. On the other hand, microhardness tests and characterization studies were carried out by metallurgical investigations. The level of Ag, which improves the properties in the brazing process, is determined and it is aimed to reduce the material performance and reduce the cost. Finally, this thesis analyzes the Ag-containing brazing filler metals, introducing a study to reduce the content of Ag and provides a basis for further prospective research.
