Abstract (EN)

In this study, Balıkesir province, Bandırma district, Edremit District located in the village of Ballipinar Ballipinar the determination of the strength of the wall of the church, the operational modal analysis method for vibration tests, modal analysis and time history analysis with the help of finite element program SAP2000 earthquake analysis of the structure to be safely transferred to future generations recommendations for are presented. In the first part, the aim and method of the subject were determined by tests to determine cultural heritage, architectural heritage concepts, structural behavior of historical masonry structures. In the second section, the research of resources is carried out and studies about historical masonry structures are given in the past. In the third section, the construction systems of masonry structures and the materials used in their construction are discussed. The experiments carried out in the structure were discussed by giving general information about the ballıpınar Church which is the subject of the thesis. A finite element model of the structure was prepared and the frequency values obtained as a result of modal analysis and the values obtained as a result of the test were compared and the model was calibrated. The earthquake behavior of the structure was studied using the calculation method in the area of time definition with the obtained finite element model. In the fourth section, the evaluation of the structural analyses was made. In the fifth section, as a result of the data obtained from the studies, the determination of the problems and suggestions for solutions are presented.
