Comparison of terryclothes which are made up with bamboo and cotton fiber in point of usag

In the survey, it has been seen a problem that bamboo fiber has been on the agenda as much as raw cotton in the production of terrycloth in recent years; therefore, it has been aimed at the determination of terrycloth?s features made up with 100% bamboo yarn and 100% cotton yarn such as softness, hidropihilite, colourfastness against washing up, and antibacterial and the evaluation as contrastive.Total field under survey is terryclothes made up with 100% bamboo yarn and 100% cotton yarn. As a sample, 24 raw terryclothes( half of them bamboo and half of them cotton ), and 24 dyed terryclothes (half of them bamboo and half of them cotton ) were used. Terryclothes made up with bamboo yarn and cotton yarn whose yarn number, closeness, dye method, and finish features are same and which are produced in Kocaer Textile Co. and which are determined as the control parameter have been taken into survey. Every test was done on 24 samples which were taken two each from one terrycolth?s different parts.The average value of obtained data at the result of the survey, and the results of Mann Whitney U test have been taken in SPSS 11.5 statistic program, findings have been evaluated at 0,01 expressiveness level. One-way Anova test was applied to the data of softness, hidropihilite and antibacterial values of raw and dyed terryclothes. Results were evaluated on 0,05 level of meaningfulness. Mann Whitney U test was applied to the data of colourfastness against to washing-up of dyed terryclothes which are made up with cotton and bamboo fiber.Results were evaluated on 0,01 level of meaningfulness.As a result of the survey, it has been determined that softness, hidropihilite, and antibacterial values of terryclothes made up with 100% bamboo yarn are high, the value of colourfastness against washing up is also lower than terryclothes made up with cotton yarn.
